Chicago Bike Shops is a cycling project built by riders in Chicago.

The idea is simple: ride to bike shops, document what we find, and put it all in one place. The guide covers 19 shops across the city and suburbs, with plans to expand across Chicagoland as more shops are visited.

This is not a paid directory. Shops don't pay to be listed. No shop is excluded for competitive reasons. If a shop is here, it's because a local rider would send you there.

Over time, the guide will include original photography, video, and deeper profiles of each shop. The depth will grow as we spend more time in shops and on the trails.
