Green Machine Cycles is built around one idea -- bikes that actually work for your life. Owner Ezra Hozinsky opened the shop in Ravenswood in 2013 after years wrenching at J.C.

Lind and the original Turin. They carry Surly, Soma, Kona, and CETMA cargo rigs, all hand-picked for riders who commute year-round, haul kids, or load up for a tour. The custom builds are serious: frame machining, dynamo lighting, vintage restorations that most shops would turn away. A small shop with an outsized reputation on the north side.
