Tailwind is a mechanic's shop that happens to sell bikes, not the other way around. Owners Steven Blum and Ben Fietz have been wrenching together since 2010 -- Ben spent seven years as a professional messenger and worked with UCI road teams, while Steven came up through Austin shops and Chicago's cyclocross scene.
