Village Cycle Center

Village Cycle Center is a Trek flagship dealer in Old Town that has been serving Chicago riders since 1971. Widely cited as the nation's largest Trek retailer, they carry one of the biggest in-stock bike inventories in the country.

The model is built around walking in and riding out the same day -- thousands of bikes on the floor, professional fitting studio, and a 30-day test ride program that's genuinely rare in the industry. The staff knows the Trek product line cold. It's a Trek-only house, so riders looking for brand variety will need to shop elsewhere, and the prices reflect the dealer markup. But for road bikes, e-bikes, or a solid commuter a straight shot from the Lakefront, the selection and service are hard to match.
